Spanish term

¡a la novia señores!

Spanish to English Other Sports / Fitness / Recreation
Is anyone familiar with the expression '¡a la novia señores!', in the context of a Basque pelota match?

Kind regards,

Jack

I agree with Cinnamon except I would write something like, 'Go for the girl!' It seems a shame to leave out the 'novia'. Perhaps you could add a footnote.

Given the info from DLyons, I'd leave the expression in Spanish (in italics or quote marks) and then put something like (loosly, "For the set point, men!") after.

Just read on a few lines!
