Windows XP Professional (SP2) is used as operating system of the server. Install the operating system according to the installation manual attached with the Server.
Pay special attention to the following steps:
1. In “Computer Name and Administrator Password” configuration window, set “Computer Name” as “XXXX” and “Administrator Password” as “xxxx”.
2. In “Networking settings” window, accept “Typical Settings”.
3. Select “XXXX” as “Workgroup or Computer Domain”.
4. Then click “Next” to continue, the screen prompts “enter user name and password”.
5. Input “administrator” as “User name” and “xxxx” as “Password”, and then click “OK”.
6. Use two large capacity hard disks for mirror disks.
7. Open “control panel”-“User Accounts”-“Change the way users log on or off”, turn off “Use the welcome screen”.
8. Create new folders named “image” and “XXXX” in root directory of Drive D.

Vær særligt opmærksom på følgende trin:

2. I vinduet ”Netværksindstillinger” skal du acceptere ”Typiske indstillinger”.
3. Vælg "XXXX” som ”Arbejdsgruppe eller Computerdomæne”.
4. Klik så på ”Næste” for at fortsætte. ”Indtast brugernavn og password” vises på skærmen.
5. Indtast ”administrator” som brugernavn og ”xxxx” som password og klik på ”OK”.
6. Brug to harddiske med stor kapacitet som spejldiske.
7. Åbn ”Kontrolpanel” – ”Brugerkonti”.”Skift måden, hvorpå brugere logger af og på” – fjern markeringen ved ”Brug velkomstsiden”.
8. Opret nye mapper ved navn ”image” og ”XXXX” i rodbiblioteket på drev D.
