I lived for 6 years in Japan while attending to a graduate school and working part time. In 2002, I started working as a translator for a company located near the university and have been doing translations ever since. Back to Brazil, since 2010 I have been working full time as a translator.
From 2018 to 2020, I lived in Italy and spent 6 months in Germany to improve my Italian and German.
I have been translating documents from Japanese, English and Spanish into Portuguese in various areas, ranging from personal letters, survey questionnaires and websites to industrial machines manuals, contracts, financial statements and patents. I love technology and have great IT skills (including programming) and I would like to have more opportunities in software localization and software manuals translations (I can write them too).
I also have a M.Sc. degree in Biological Sciences and a lot of experience writing scientific papers both in Portuguese and English. Of course, I can read them in Japanese too, as well as in Spanish, French, German and Italian.
I am used to working for demanding clients with tight schedules. Feel free to contact me at any time.
