: Post-grading comment: the "prima" is not the feed-in tariff, but a subsidy in the alternative scheme. Feed-in tariff is the "tarifa regulada", in Spain at least. Saludos.

premiums
The words premiums has different meanings, but the one you are looking for is: something offered free or at a reduced price as an inducement to buy something else.
Example sentence:
In addition to the biweekly and monthly premiums, you can also find the total premiums, the amount the government pays, and the change in your portion of the premium compared to last year.

premiums / bonuses / subsidies
I'm just adding this entry late as I'm currently working on a document that goes into a lot of depth about these terms. Edward is right, it's an incentive, but the industry seems to call them bonuses or premiums, although in fact they are really subsidies. Perhaps a bit of political "maquillaje" going on there, as the word "subsidy" can be a bit contentious.
The "prima" is NOT the feed-in tariff, but it can be a a part of it, look:
http://www.eoi.es/blogs/pabloocampo/2013/11/19/la-tarifa-ele...
http://www.aeeolica.org/es/sobre-la-eolica/preguntas-frecuen...
In the reference below, it refers to bonuses, which are what is meant when we talk about "primas".
How do the Feed-In Tariffs help?
The Tariffs give three financial benefits:
A payment for all the electricity you produce, even if you use it yourself
Additional bonus payments for electricity you export into the grid
A reduction on your standard electricity bill, from using energy you produce yourself
http://www.fitariffs.co.uk/FITs/
Here's a clearer example of how it's used:
In Spain, wind farms can, at the start of each year, choose between two tariff regimes: (i) a FIT, currently 6.21 eurocents, which is changed each year; (ii) to receive a “prima” per kWh, at a rate adapted each year, and sell their power into the power exchange receiving the daily market price.
Denmark decided in 1999/2000 to drop the FIT for new wind farms, replacing it with a tradable RE certificate scheme to begin in 2001. Existing wind turbines were to be paid the FIT until 2010, a decision which proved to be the kiss of death for the green certificate scheme: it reduced the annual volumes for traded RECs to insignificant levels, creating a market with too low liquidity to make it efficient. The REC was never implemented. Instead, as shown in the next chapter, Denmark introduced a variant of the “premium payment on top of market pool price” scheme.

By the way, feed-in tariff appears to be translated in Spain as "tarifa regulada", although some sources refer to it as the "regimen especial", which I would translate as "feed-in tariff scheme [or system]".
ES Spanish Industry and Energy Ministry. Spanish power plants. Distinguishes between ordinary power plants and those under the feed-in-tariff scheme (“regimen especial”).
