agree Michel F. Morin : Good morning Chris. No doubt: SI (soins intensifs) = IC (intensive care). Now, the wording "chef de fonction" is not correct -therefore maybe the difficulty to properly put it in English !

agree writeaway : Also agree with Bourth. Acronym in, acronym out. Asker is a Medical Doctor so one can perhaps assume that ICU doesn't need any explanation. SJDL has provided the actual OZ title in the discussion box
