Is it possible to use a working XXXX Terminal Server at location where non working box was located?

In questi casi credo che si intenda genericamente una postazione, un sistema funzionante nel senso di una data macchina equipaggiata con un certo Sistema operativo, hardware ecc. (come nel link).
Spesso ad es. recentemente nei newsgropus ho trovato frasi tipo "purchasing a Vista box" per indicare l'acquisto di un computer equipaggiato con Vista

Può la workstation effettuare il ping del server a può il server fare il ping della workstation e/o dell'unità Lantronix?
