: "événement dommageable" is "damaging event"; however, "incident" sounds better. "atteinte dommageable" is probably something like "damaging infringement", literally

The "insurable event": typical language used in insurance contracts. Since insurance covers losses, this term is sufficient.

Incident/Accident I think is best for Sinistre. I would simply say "Non intentional damage which occurred during the period and under the conditions...."
