Spanish term
patio lateral exterio / patio posterior exterior
Spanish to English
Law/Patents
Law (general)
El propietario del local ocupa el patio lateral exterior amb una màquina excavadora y un puente-grua, así como el patio posterior con vehículos y como trastero al descubierto (solar de unos 1748 m2).
The owner of the premises also keeps a digger and an overhead crane on the exterior side patio and vehicles on the front exterior patio, which is an open storage area (1748m² of land).
I know "exterior" is usually just "outside", but when talking about buildings I think we tend to say "exterior" in English as well.
My problem is "patio". I don't think this is the best word for the context, but I don't have any more information about the patio. Some glossary entries say "courtyard", but that makes it sound like the entrance to a really nice building, whereas this place isn't. I was thinking of "yard", but in British English, yard can be understood as being a garden.
