Segmentation Rules for an Alignment don't work

Hello,

I'm using DVX 7.5.303.
I'm already quite familiar with the segmentation rules in DVX (tools > options > delimiters).
But these rules don't seem to work when I do an alignment.


For example:
In the delimiter rules for German, I have (amongst others) programmed the following Exception Rules:

Before Split :
z.B.^w
z.^wB.^w

After Split: nothing


Now, I have 2 txt files that I want to... See more

Now, I have 2 txt files that I want to align for building a TM English-German.
The german part of the alignment always cut the sentence after "z.", beginning the next sentence with "B." showing me that the segmentation rules are ignored. I have even tried to build the alignment in the direction German-English. Same result.

Does anyone know how to make segmentation rules work for alignments ?

Hi Mike,
Did you find a solution to your problem above? I'm just now trying to set up delimitation rules. Currently trying to figure out how to prevent DV from doing a segmentation after "bzw.".
