Hi everyone!

I'm currently translating a menu from Spanish into English. Is anyone perchance able to assist me with the translation of 'magret al oporto'?

***Magret al oporto*** con patatas o Entrecote con pimientos del piquillo.

Magret:
The breast meat from a mallard or Barbary duck. These ducks are specially raised for foie gras. Their breasts are large and have a much thinner layer of fat than do the Peking or Long Island duckling.

Magret of duck with port wine jus/sauce

Magret refers to duck breast that comes from ducks reared to produce foie gras (they're usually corn fed). As a result the breast is larger, leaner and more tender. The oporto refers to it being cooked in a port wine reduction, producing a sauce/jus (or you could just say port wine reduction.) You could also use the term duck breast if you prefer to translate magret.
