Word 2003 and Wordfast: problem with Textbox

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with text boxs in Word (2003, but it happened also with Word 2000). I can't see them when the wordfast macro is running. I can only see them in image format. I have Wordfast 5.1, but it did not work with 4.22, as well.
What am I doing wrong?

Update: I found a trick. Oct 25, 2005

If I click: "insert a text box", it shows all hidden text boxes.
This thing remains weird, anyway.

Hi Paolo,

It's not weird, it's a feature of WF. As text boxes and drawings (especially in large documents) tend to take more resources, WF disables the display.
To enable it you have to tick the selection box for Drawings that you'll find under Tools - Options - View Tab. That should do the trick.

Text boxes in WF Oct 30, 2005

I am trying to get an accurate word count and analysis but WordFast keeps skipping over the text boxes and doesn't count them. Can anyone shed some light on this?
