I translate Japanese to English. I noticed right away that unlike previously, now my IME for Japanese input is force-switched to the Japanese (hiragana) input mode each time I click in a target segment. As the target language is correctly set to English, this means that I have to hit the keyboard shortcut to switch to English input every time I click in a target segment before I start to type, or else I enter Japanese characters.
Has anyone else noticed this problem, and do you have a suggestion to get around it?
I am searching online for information on the issue, but I honestly don't know how to even phrase it correctly to get relevant search results (assuming they exist).
Yes, I have the same problem with the latest version. I'm having to use an older version because the IME issue is crippling.
I've reported this issue to support, but they're in no hurry to fix it. I wonder if you'd like to offer a refund to Japanese users who can't take advantage of the upgrades that we pay for?
