I am a simultaneous bilingual in English, Portuguese and Spanish. I was born into an Anglo-Portuguese family and was raised in Portugal, Spain and the UK. A passion for the written and the spoken word led me to study Modern Languages, Literature, and Translation at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

I have lived in Portugal, the UK, Germany and Spain. This means that apart from learning and mastering my working languages in situ, I have also been exposed to the cultures where they are spoken which enables me to understand nuances that only the first-hand experience gained by living in a country and interacting with its people can provide.

I work with translation agencies, direct clients, and international agencies and institutions. My work ranges from the translation of letters to the project management of complex high volume, fast turnaround translations.

Specific capabilities and core competences:
- translating all types of documents;
- revising and re-reading translations produced by other translators, external translations, and translations produced by trainees;
- project management;
- terminology works.
