I agree with the previous answer. This is just to enhance the syntax. It doesn't sound OK to repeat the same word over and over again. 'Respresentation' is an alternative in the second part of the sentence.

This is a bit more florid, more like what would be used in a letter. In a contract (legal use) I would probably say, "both personally and as the representative of XYZ Co." .

is my suggestion... just another alternative. I ran a search on google for the phrase and found many hits (130,000) used in lawsuits. The string is below and, in any event, the search words were "individually and on behalf of"...
