Spanish term

hemos apostado por....

Spanish to English Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters

translation of an e-mail into english, but as far as lil' ole me, its got to be the worst written spanish i've seen in ages......
on kudoz search i found "we have decided/we have made a firm commitment to/we have decided to go for" but nothing fits quite right as i reckon the phrase should read: hemos apostado por la formación (técnica/ongoing/especializada or whatever....something) as in this case formación refers to training, as the text later goes on to say how well they've done it and all the benefits they've reaped due to having such an efficient call centre....
any suggestions gratefully received.....gracias por anticipado

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer.
