Abd. weich, kein DS, kein AS. DG *ubiquitär*.
Im bereitgestellten TM des Kunden wird ubiquitär mit "overall" übersetzt (ohne Kontext). Wie ist dieser Satz nun zu formulieren? Klingt das mit overall nicht etwas merkwürdig?

A bit more specific, but I think by "ubiquitär" they must mean all quadrants. It would rule out the unlikely interpretation of bowel sounds present in chest (diaphragmatic hernia), for example.

: interestingly, this is a notion used by nurses rather than doctors - the fact that BS are present in all four quadrants has absolutely no clinical significance - you either hear them or you don't

ubiquitous bowel sounds
'ubiquitous' means basically the same as Wendy's 'omnipresent', 'everywhere at the same time' - just wanted to present another word choice, even if it does sound as if translated word by word, it is used in medical texts.

We don't usually say whether they can be heard all over the abdomen - but this is what the German means.
This would usually be described as "bowel sounds present and normal".
