Can we say "Sale where property is bought off plan or during the course of construction"?

La vente à terme est un contrat, passé devant notaire, par lequel l'acquéreur ne devient propriétaire de la construction qu'à son achèvement. Les paiements qu'il effectue ne sont pas versés au vendeur mais à un établissement financier garantissant l'achèvement des travaux. Ce type de contrat est beaucoup moins pratiqué que la vente en l'état futur d'achèvement (VEFA) et que le contrat de construction de maison individuelle (CCMI).
