French term
attestation de mise en vente
French to English
Law/Patents
Law (general)
This is the title of a one-page certificate which describes art pieces, states that they have been sold, and ends with the seller affirming that the objects were his property.
So, while the title states that the items were offered for sale, they actually have been sold, so what's the best translation?
Certificate of Sales Offering
or
Sales Certificate
?

Sales offering certificate
A "mise en vente" is not yet an accomplished sale, so translating with "sales certificate" would rather imply the conclusion of a sale, and not the offering thereof.
