un moyen pour sortir vers Internet

French to English Tech/Engineering IT (Information Technology)

I started this block of text, with the idea of an input connection for the first sentence, then when I was the second sentence, I thought that maybe it would be better to refer to an incoming and outgoing connection, but then I became slightly confused. Not being very familiar with IP EDGE technology I think I need a little guidance.

Any help would be appreciated.

an outgoing connexion to the Internet

I can't find a way to translate that litterally, but I think it's the meaning.

a means of outputting to the Internet

I think it probably refers to a means of sending data via the Internet, but not receiving it from the Internet. So, the cameras can send their images via the Internet, but the operator can't send commands back to the cameras.
EDGE = Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution, and GSM currently means Global System for Mobile, but its original meaning (about 1990) was "Groupe Spéciale Mobile"

internet broadcast technology/method

Broadcast is widely used in the context of unidirectional data transmission via internet, especially when it comes to media transmissions via internet or communications satellites.

Multicast is also used in IT context, the meaning differing in that while broadcasting allows the message/stream to be read/received by anyone on the network, multicasting sends the message/stream to a specific list of recipients.
