This is obviously a report about an echocardiographic examination.

The transducer was placed > *angelotet* in a parasternal and apical position on the chest: Atypical placement (of the transducer)

agree Anne Schulz : "placement" is o.k., but "angelotet" is not "angelötet", Gerhard; it rather has to do with the "Lot" at which the structure is probed.

To Gerhard: no \"ö\" in your explanation, just the fact that you spoke of the transducer being \"angelotet\" (rather than the structure which is being \"angelotet\" by the transducer) made me feel that you might have got something confused here.
