Normall, I would translate "positiv verändern" as "change for the better", but it would make this sentence far too weird and seemingly paradoxical. (Although I must admit that Einstein was fond of paradoxical-seeming formulations.)

I don't know whether that is better, and so I can't improve my (already good?) answer. ;-) Seriously, there's a question whether it just means "knowing what is better" or "knowing about the thing which is better", i.e. perhaps also understanding it.

Good can not be changed positiv without clue about better.
"Knowlege" might be used instead of "clue" as well, but I think that sounds better. Just attempt.
