C’est peut-être un peu plus américain comme expression mais compréhensible par des Britanniques.

Oui, "my mistake" convient aussi.
"My bad" est un peu plus "jeune"/familier, "my mistake" un peu plus formel.
Tout dépend de qui prononce la phrase :-)
