In this context
To collect a Payment Transaction from a Paying Agent, the Recipient must provide all details about the Payment Transaction required by us (“Collection Details”).
You remain ultimately responsible for the submission of the Collection Details to the Recipient.

: I don't understand how this can make sense. I read: communiquer... (par écrit ou autrement). // I know this meaning of redact. I finally can see how it may apply, but still have reservations - cf. discussion. À la rigueur, je retiendrais "caviardés".

Hi Germaine, the intended meaning is pretty clear: to refrain from sending those details, complete or even redacted, to anyone other than chosen recipient. 'Redacted'/'expurgés' meaning some info of the collection details, not all info, is made illegible.

Redacted does not mean 'rédiger' in the US. Did you understand this: 'TO ANYONE OTHER THAN YOUR CHOSEN RECIPIENT'?

Il me semble qu’en français on aurait simplement écrit « NE COMMUNIQUEZ LES INFORMATIONS DE PAIEMENT À PERSONNE D’AUTRE QUE LE DESTINATAIRE CHOISI. » sans « expliquer » les modalités entre parenthèse…
Ça se rapproche de l'idée soulevée par François Tardif (modifier). Toutefois, il me semble toujours que "expurger" (= Abréger (un texte) en éliminant ce qui est contraire à la morale ou à la religion. Débarrasser de ce qui n'est pas utile.) et caviarder (= Censurer. Supprimer en biffant à l'entre noire...) n'ont pas vraiment cette connotation auprès du grand public. Par contre, je constate que l'interprétation dépend de la traduction choisie. Merci pour vos commentaires.
