Medical: Cardiology
In a medical report discussing a patient's prior bypass surgery:
Bypass-OP 2003, Ziele LIMA ad RIVA, EVB ad RDG1, EVB ad RPLA, Kollateralen von RCA auf RIVA
I get that the other abbreviations refer to various coronary/coronary-adjacent arteries (LIMA is the left internal mammary artery, RIVA is the left anterior descending artery, etc.) However, I haven't been able to find any indications of what EVB might refer to.

Comment: "Thank you! That makes a lot of sense. I suppose that given the number of English-language acronyms used elsewhere in the report, I can't be surprised that a French one slipped in as well. Thanks for the note on IMA/ITA as well!"
Discussion
Just FYI, LIMA is now officially LITA (left internal thoracic artery), although vascular surgeons still commonly refer to it as left internal mammary artery.
