Discussion

Charles Davis Jun 20, 2019:
Or maybe "entry no. 1".
Charles Davis Jun 20, 2019:
I would be tempted to be even more radical than Phil, for once, and not translate it at all: just put "no. 1". After all, as Taña reference shows, it simply indicates the number of an entry in a section of the register, in a sequence of consecutive numbers from 1 to X. But that's how entry numbers always work; you start with no. 1 and continue with 2, 3, 4 etc. It's redundant.
Ilduara Escobedo Jun 20, 2019:
Maybe it means "file number"?
Maria Kisic Jun 20, 2019:
Maybe as in folio consecutivo /documento siguiente?
philgoddard Jun 20, 2019:
Reference number.
Charles Davis Jun 20, 2019:
It's consecutivo all right, but how do you translate it? It seems to mean just "number in sequence".
Taña Dalglish Jun 20, 2019:
John: You go ahead. I can't break what I am doing to check other sources. Please ...
JohnMcDove Jun 20, 2019:
Seems likely. As an answer? (I don't know what else could be)
Taña Dalglish Jun 20, 2019:
Is it similar to this? This tells me it is "consecutivo" (No. consecutivo). See page 9 (PDF) for example.

Note from asker:
The adjective form does not fit in this context but what about 'sequence'?
