French term

Projet d’aliénation

French to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) Local municipality
I would be grateful for help with the following term: projet d’aliénation.

It appears in a legal contract between a local authority and a company, concerning forestry work etc.

The full sentence is: La commune de XXX s’engage à soumettre ce projet d’aliénation à l’enquête publique dans les trois mois suivants la réalisation des travaux forestiers de mise en conformité du chemin rural.

I think the word "Alienation" is also a legal term in English, but I don't know what it refers to in this context. "Alienation arrangement.?"

Thanks Zofia
agree Nikki Scott-Despaigne : "Disposal" would be my choice here. "Alienation" is not used that much in EN these days in this context, althgou it exists : https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/alienable

Thanks Nikki. That's right, it tends only to be used in the form "alienable".
