Spanish term

alta & desentrañar in this context

Spanish to English Social Sciences Social Science, Sociology, Ethics, etc. Research
This is the text:

Strauss & Howe (1991) identifican ciclos generacionales de aproximadamente entre 80 y 100 años, compuestos a su vez de cuatro etapas de aproximadamente 20 años de duración cada una, que se repiten de manera recurrente a lo largo de la historia de los Estados Unidos.
Estas cuatro etapas (denominadas alta, despertar, desentrañar y crisis) se corresponden con cuatro identidades colectivas (profeta, nómada, héroe y artista).

I do not know how to translate the stage "alta" and "desentarñar" and am not able to find translations within the sociological context.

Thanks for any help

These are apparently Howe and Strauss's own terms in English. "Unravelling" if you're using British spelling.
