With reference to taking prescribed tablets, can anyone tell me what the following (made up names and quantities just to illustrate) example means with regard to the use of "Exp." please? I know that (e.g.) 4 ggr means four times, but am wondering what Exp. is, and whether it's Latin.
Doxyferm tablets, 100 mg, 1+1+1 st, Exp. 4 ggr.
Thanks in advance asap.

dispensed (here)
In this context I think it must mean "expedierat".
It could mean "expeditioner" (i.e. the prescription can be filled four times) but I think that would usually be "uttag"
