The form doesn't read μητρώο. It reads κατάσταση. That means we've got a gender mismatch, which provides further reason for preferring the NIL translation.<br><br>
I have, however, provided an argument even for the case the genders matched.

I did not provide my comment as a separate answer because Pericles had already agreed with Tranphy’s answer and so I considered that the chances of my answer being selected were slim. However, whenever I translate such documents, I write: Criminal record: NIL (and will continue doing so because I feel that it is a correct way of expressing the intended meaning),
Actually, this is indeed the case here, since the word μητρώο is of neutral gender, just like μηδέν.<br><br>
The objection is of another kind. Μητρώο - meaning record, registry - is evidently referred to as something uncountable, where one might found one or more countable entries - aka convictions, in our case. But the form still reads μητρώο and not καταδίκες or anything like that, so yes, the best translation would, in my opinion, be:<br><br>
criminal record: NIL
Some, however, of the things you mention are not so crystal-clear, in my opinion: <ι>Καθόλου</ι> would most accurately correspond to not at all - being an adverb, that is - while none is probably closer to κανένας/καμία/κανένα - being... well... something of a "negative numeric adjective" (that's my own arbitrary term for describing its grammatic/syntactic characteristics). Given, however, the considerable divergences between greek and english sentence-structuring, there are, of course, times when these translations may vary.<br><br>
As for μηδέν, nowadays it means, as you say, zero, nil... Originally, however, it's merely the neutral gender of μηδείς/μηδεμία/μηδέν, a twin sibling of the more frequently encountered ουδείς/ουδεμία/ουδέν, both predecessors of the currently used κανένας/καμία/κανένα, meaning - hence - no one/none.<br><br>
So, had the noun being attributed been of the same gender as the attribute in question, μηδέν might indeed, be translated as none... [to be continued]
All dictionaries that I have give the meanings of μηδεν to be: zero, nought, nil or null.
