: There is no guaranty of getting ANY of your money back up to and including the maturity; the difference introduced with "à capital non garanti" is that not only you may not get any interests, but you could also lose your capital too.

: unsecured debt security = titre de créance non garanti. En voulant raboudiner avec la phrase de la fin, vous déformez le sens: you risk a capital loss for selling prior to maturity; la créance est "non garantie" en tout temps, pas juste avant échéance.
