Italian to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) half year report
Just wondering if the word category should be translated and included in the following sentence or simply stated as "the category Shareholders’ Meeting".

...è stato nominato Rappresentante comune degli azionisti di risparmio per il triennio XXXX7 dall’Assemblea di categoria tenutasi in data xxxx 2015.

in fact ... in can only find evidence of "special category Shareholder's Meeting" in usage on the internet ..

my mistake ... I mean't simply stated as "the Shareholders’ Meeting". I'm reviewing a document whereby this has been used. I'm uncertain it needs to be translated and stated.

Both of the options you suggest appear to be the same. Yes, you should translate it.
