Hi all,
In the context of marketing financial services/investments, I'm looking for a suitable translation of "rétrocession à l’acte" (and how does this differs from "rétrocessions de frais de gestion"?). Is it that one is a percentage of the management fees, while the other is a fixed fee?
Thanks
David

per-occasion fee
As opposed to periodic fee.
Omit the word "retrocession" altogether -- it's not needed. The vastly larger fund management industry in the Anglosphere gets along quite well without it, thank you, even though it has the same multiple levels of intermediaries splitting up and passing back fees borne by the end customer. All the 'retro-' term does is specify direction, and that can go without saying in the context of a portfolio mgt company and fund distributors.

new business rebates
I understand this to be what the broker/IFA etc (used to - see legislation changes in link below) get(s) paid for signing up the customer.
I think the "retro de frais de gestion" is, as you say, a rebate of the management fee which is levied annually on the fund. I think "rebate of trail commission" may work there but would need more context.
