Mutual Das "mutual" bedeutet hier, dass die Sparer gemeinsam in einen Fonds einzahlen, der dann Aktien oder andere Wertpapiere für die Gesamtheit der Sparer erwirbt. Im Englischen kommt noch zum Ausdruck, dass es sich um einen gemeinsamen Topf handelt.
