German term

rieselfrei

German to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering
Es geht um die Deckenkonstruktion von Reinräumen:

Isoliereinlage: 44 mm Mineralwolleinlage, 150 kg/m3, **rieselfrei**, einseitig vollflächig einlaminiert, Baustoffklasse A1 nach Euro-Norm DIN 13501-1, nicht karzinogen nach TRGS 95

Kann mir jemand hier den adäquaten englischen Begriff nennen?

Re trickle: This suggests that the water condenses on the ceiling before finding its way to the walls and then running down them. The priority in a Reinraum is to prevent water condensing into droplets which then fall down onto the sterile products below.

trickle protection: protecting the trickle against what?
(cf child protection - is this protecting children against abuse by children or adults against abuse by children?)
Peer comment(s):

neutral Edith Kelly : it's not about water or condensation, it's about debris that can fall out. // def no. 2 refers to small particles http://www.macmillandictionary.com/dictionary/british/trickl... particles/debric can trickle. // we used to manufacture mineral wool ......

In which case, the asker should not have chosen any formulation that included the word 'trickle'.
