Spanish term

no quema lineas de riesgo con Mayorista

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
This is from a marketing brochure summarising the benefits of a company's leasing/hire purchase agreement.

- Ofrecer una solución de pago a sus clientes
- No quema lineas de riesgo con Mayorista
- Posibilidad de atender operaciones de Mayor Volumen

Can anyone clarify the meaning of "quemar" in this context, please?
Many thanks

avoid(s) risks associated with wholesaler lines

quemar = to burn, i.e. (in this case) to get your fingers burnt by relying on wholesalers, is how I see it at first glance. I may be wrong.

However, it think it fits in the context.

Indeed, "quemar" could also refer to using up (burning) existing credit lines. The true meaning should become apparent from the rest of the document contents - I just posted the first thing that sprang to mind and couched it
in in such a way as to fit as many options as possible.

However, it would help to know what they meant by "lineas de riesgo"...
Note from asker:
Thanks Neilmac, my reading of it is that it does not use up (quemar) existing credit lines... but maybe yours is right?!

we don't take your broker lines away

Some companies will hire sales persons and after the sales person establishes business with a client - in this case brokers - the company will take them away to avoid having to pay additional commissions.

'Riesgo' is what all insurance covers, so I do not think it needs to be translated.
