German term
Konstant lagekorrekte Installationen
German to English
Medical
Medical: Cardiology
This phrase comes up in the results of a chest X-ray of patient who has had coronary bypass surgery. It is the 'Installationen' that I am unsure of. I understand that they are continually in the correct position. The patient has no devices implanted.
Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

Could it refer to installed x-ray markers, or clips and wiring used during CABG surgery?
"Using X-ray computed tomography (CT) and selective graft angiography, the authors studied the necessity of metallic markers in coronary artery bypass grafts... Selective graft angiography was easily performed even in grafts without markers. A cross-section of the occluded graft could not be seen with X-ray CT. Grafts with markers were often masked by artifacts produced by markers on X-ray CT... This study suggests that metallic markers may not be necessary for coronary artery bypass grafts."
