officers of the shareholders' assembly

I think this has been answered may times. It's the chairman and the secretary of the meeting, not all of the attendees. There isn't really an English term for them, you might prefer "chairman and secretary of the meeting". And I believe since it is Assemblée that it's a shareholders' meeting (but more context might prove me wrong).

agree AllegroTrans : absolutely, it's not all the attendees

neutral rkillings : 'officers', maybe -- but there are at least three members of the bureau: the président and *two* scrutateurs; cf. Code de commerce R225-101 and -106. Realistically, you need a noun for the body of which these 'officers' are members.

committee members

I am a committee member in a French association, no need to repeat general meeting as should be put in the previous part of the sentence
Peer comment(s):

agree Andrew Mason : I agree wholeheartedly with this if we are talking about an association or club, but if one is talking about something else, a company for example, one needs a different term - the context will dictate.

neutral AllegroTrans : this seems to imply that all the attendees sign the minutes, the "mebres du bureau" are only the presiding officers of the meeting; "committee" confuses the issue somewhat

members of the general meeting committee

Generally, the 'bureau' at a publicly traded French company is responsible for organising and conducting the general meeting and legally responsible for the minutes.

(At associations and non-profits, though, the 'bureau' may be an executive body with ongoing responsibilities.)

*which* committee? A company (as opposed to an association) will have too many other committees. This is not a management committee or a board committee.

Note from asker:
Thank you. I learned something, always good in this business.

neutral rkillings : Not established that the entity in question (which has apparently sold bonds to the public) is an association. The 'bureau' of a listed company, as required by the Commercial Code, is another animal entirely.

the principle applies to virtually all forms of meetings
