French term

Cela envoyait du steak

French to English Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
Target=UK
Context: Press release (sailing)

XXXX= name of sailor

Thanks Phil. I've just spoken to the client and she said, "intense, excitant, dynamique" all in one. Difficult to find something that conveys that in English. Don't you just love the French expression? I mean where on earth did it come from?

it rocked ?
Note from asker:
I'm wary of 'rocked' because of the confusion with the 'boat rocked'
Peer comments on this reference comment:

agree MoiraB : 'it rocked' might be a fun play on words in the context!
