That is what discussions are for. Thanks to your expert contribution, we have finally established that "Fixed assets" is an outdated translation for "immobilizzazioni". Exchanging views is an excellent source of knowledge! :-)

It is... ...but it's out of date. If we're going to enter a term into Kudoz (and use it in a translation), it should be the best one possible. Why propogate an out-of-date term?

well, "fixed assets" is a very common translation for "immobilizzazioni" (multiple references here in Kudoz and IATE, for instance. It's also consistent with the context provided by Asker: "In Notes to the Financial Statements under Tangible FIXED Assets"
