Italian term

è conforme

Italian to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) Financial statements
This comes at the end of the Minutes for an Ordinary General Meeting:
There are only 2 signatures at the end: the President & the Secretary. No stamps, certification evidence etc.
"Il sottoscritto dichiara che il presente documento informatico *è conforme* a quello trascritto e sottoscritto sui libri sociali della società. ROMA lì (date) Rappresentante Legale o negoziale: ..."

I need a second opinion on exactly what this is saying. Its not a law so I cant see that it 'complies' or 'conforms'....

Level If you wish to vote it as a Non-Pro go right ahead, and also please don't tell me this is already in the Proz list - I've seen the 20 or so entries, mostly ENG-IT, and I'm not convinced I've seen the answer ... This needs to be right ... I expect that it is swearing that this is a true and faithful copy of the Minutes ...I'm just not sure on the wording that is usually used here. THANKS.

is a true copy

Any person with the requisite authority can certify a true copy.

You could phrase it is "...is hereby certified as a true copy", though there is no one single right answer and there are various ways of putting it in acceptable legal English.

One would presume here that the articles state that the legal representative is empowered to issue true copies of AGM minutes.
