Quite probably tasse should not be included here but its the only context I have, other than it is a Financial Statement "Cost"
Looking at the US Bureau of Internal Revenue, I'm guessing that this is Fees for the Registration of books.

NB: *Bollatura libri* was posted here on Proz in 2007 and still has no answer.

Maybe 'taxes' would sound better at the end of the sentence.

Marzia This happens repeatedly to me. The Proz link provided (which also contains a previous Proz link) shows *statutory stamping of books* (prior to use to prevent tampering). I just kept getting the 2007 unanswered question link from Proz no matter how I worded the search, even using one word. Thanks. That's exactly what I was looking for!!! Would have saved me an hour had I found it.

notes: I've looked at a lot of Italian accountant websites regarding what is mandatory under the Italian Civil Code, but I still can't figure out what this is with regard to bookkeeping. I keep getting "filing" and "registration" but being Italy I imagine it involves some kind of revenue stamp - everything does. Even using your passport to leave the country ex-EU requires a bollatura. I'm really not sure how to say this. Any help appreciated.

I am not sure how good this is, but on Google I found some results on 'bollatura libri sociali' and 'bollatura and vidimazione libri sociali'.

I guess you're right and probably we are talking about fees paid for having the company book stamped.

Maybe reading the rsmta.it file can be useful, as it explains what to do to start a business in Italy.
