Spanish term
vinculación
Spanish to English
Law/Patents
Law: Contract(s)
Hi,
I wonder could anyone help me with the meaning of 'vinculación in the following sentence? The author is talking about the maximum time that a consultancy service has to deliver a documents (productos) as part of a report.
Cuatro meses como tiempo máximo para la entrega de los productos mediante vinculación formal de contrato de prestación de servicios.
My attempt:
The maximum time for the delivery of the documents outlined above in formal compliance with the service contract is four months.
I've seen vinculación translated as linking or as the 'binding nature' but neither of these seems to make sense in the context.
Thank you for your help!

Spanish term (edited):
mediante vinculación formal de contrato de prestación de servicios.
Selected
as stipulated by a written service agreement [between the parties].
Or "contract" instead of "agreement."
To me, it just seems like bloated legalese. A "contrato" is by definition a "vinculación formal."
Suerte.

: I fail to see how this would fit into the text; a "bond" surely implies some kind of formal commitment where a sum of money is lodged

... the Municipal Systems Act. The relationship with RED1 is formalised in a Service Delivery Agreement, as required by Section 82 of the Municipal Systems Act.
También "defined, set up, stipulated, provided for, spelled out", todos verbos que he encontrado en frases parecidas entre los resultados de Google.
O bien "according to the Service Delivery Agreement signed / entered into".

AllegroTrans
: "formalised" is rather unnatural English in this context

Perhaps not as frequent as other verbs, but not wrong in the context, imo.
