compressible (pseudoaneurysm)

Pseudoaneurysm oft the femoral artery is a comparably common complication of arterial puncture preceding angiography or PCI. Compressibility (the ability to stop the blood flow by applying pressure to the transducer) during ultrasound examination indicates low risk of the necessity of surgical intervention and suggests a benign course...
Sometimes blood flow into the pseudoaneurysm can be interrupted permanently just by external compression.

BTW: Happy Thanksgiving!
Example sentence:

The main inclusion criterion was that the pseudoaneurysm was *compressible* on ultrasound.

The two remaining pseudoaneurysms were considered non-*compressible* and were surgically corrected.

"Stielligatur" is an often used term for this method- "ligature"
Note from asker:
So it should be Stiel, not Stil, right?
