I don't think this is really clearly understandable in French, so it's kind of hard to make clear English out of it.
I'm pretty confident that "intervenir conjointement" is most commonly translated "(to) act jointly" in US mutual fund jargon. You can google the term and see that it is common. However, "to act jointly among themselves" is kind of murky in English as well as French.
I can't think of any thing else it could be.
