Italian term
alla conclusione di
Italian to English
Law/Patents
Law: Contract(s)
Appears in text twice
1. “Parti”, intendono incontrarsi al fine di verificare l’interesse reciproco *alla conclusione di* futuri accordi di collaborazione",
and again
2. "Le Parti si impegnano ad osservare il predetto obbligo di segretezza indipendentemente *dalla conclusione* di futuri accordi di collaborazione."
- My guess is that it is referring to conditions applying for the entire duration of doing business together, ie until the very end of things, but not sure quite how to put it.

alla conclusione di; indipendentemente dalla conclusione di
Selected
in the conclusion of; independently of the conclusion of
(For the second one, "notwithstanding" is wrong. The emphasis is that secrecy will apply whether or not any agreement is concluded.)

to avoid awkward-sounding nominalisations that are not that great in English.
'conclusion' meaning making/finalising an agreement, not as in 'at the end of'

: While subject-verb constructions are definitely preferable to weighty nominalisations, over use of gerunds/present participles tend to weaken sentence construction IMHO.
