More context please ;-) What kind of "Bus/Financial - Finance (general)" is this? Is it a bank, where cash in the drawers – or in ATMs – must be reconciled to the bank's automated systems?

cash, notes and coins

and Matthew is right that "coin" may be singular in some contexts. It would be nice to have more context to be sure.

many thanks JL01:-)
disagree SafeTex : in the 'caisse' (till or register), there are sureley credit card receipts and cheques if it is a shop and perhaps even bank transfers going in if it is a company or mail order. 'Caisse' for me indicates more than notes and coins here

why do YOU assume it's a till or register?

stock crates, bills and coin (the cash component of the physical stock)

Hello,

Could "caisse" be "caisse de marchandise" (the physical stock)
or "crates of merchandise"?

billets et espèce = bills and coins (the cash component of the physical stock)
