European cookery book
Introduction to a recipe book for EU:
"En feuilletant ses pages on peut écouter le ressac d’une mer ensoleillée, humer le parfum des herbes sauvages, discerner les troupeaux qui paissent à l’herbage, et même entendre, au loin, les flonflons des «musiques d’ailleurs» qui accompagnent toujours un bon plat."
"Music from elsewhere" is a bit clumsy. Foreign music? Any other ideas very welcome. Thank you!

Comment: "Hi. Thank you all for the suggestions. French Foodie's is the closest although I went for "strains of (Ormiston) music from faraway places"."

the music of distant climes
a poetic way of expressing it.
2 hrs
enticing sounds of unfamiliar music
Another suggestion: I think the emphasis should be on the unfamiliarity of the music, which adds to the exotic flavour of food from elsewhere.

unfamiliar music
to hear distant strains/echoes of unfamiliar music

music from different/other places

Another suggestion that came to mind.

(strains of) exotic music
I'd agree with French Foodie only I'd have said 'music FROM...elsewhere, etc'
To me exotic has connotations of 'from elsewhere + that magic touch'
