Italian term

nel cui studio elegge domicilio

Italian to English Law/Patents Law (general) summons
Hi,
This is part of a summons and this person is the first party mentioned. Can someone help me with the following phrase, especially the parts I have put in quotes:

difesa e rappresentata dall’Avv. XXX "nel cui studio" in Roma, "elegge domicilio in forza di procura in margine al presente atto"

Here is what I have come up with:
defended and represented by Avv.XXX, Attorney at Law, with law offices in Rome, via XXX, where this has been elected domicile according to the power of attorney shown in the margin of this summons

Thanks!

whose chambers are given as his address for service

looking at the phrase as a whole, perhaps something like:
"YYY ... whose counsel and representative is Avv. XXX, giving its/his/her/their address for service as XXX's chambers in Rome by virtue of the power of attorney in the margin of this instrument"
But I'm sure other useful formulations will be suggested here.

This means that the plaintiff or defendant wants all notices connected to the case be sent to his/her lawyer's office. The previous reply is also good.
