there is no reason to believe that this is... anything other than straight forward - i.e. employees will be reimbursed so much for dinner when on business trips and will receive an allowance of xxx if they work after 19.30 or have to spend the night away from home. Why look further ? Other than for the sheer plesure of seeking complications where there are none

Context I'm sorry the "s" in accommodation is a typo. The above sentence comes right after mention is made that the meal allowance will be of a certain amount. Here is the full text: "Dîner (amount) En cas de logement à l'extérieur, respectivement de retour après 19h30". I hope this helps. Thank you.

Not enough context I think we need more of the source text; as Sheila points out, there are other possibilities. Also, in your proposed translation, "accommodation" should not take an "s" even if it is plural, "connected" is an odd verb to use and (as writeaway asks) what "property"?

hotel expenses Surely this is simply saying that if you have to stay in a hotel, the cost will be covered....

The context makes it clearer, tho' the second part of the sentence does not seem to make any sense: it sounds like it's saying, "if you are not staying on-site [meaning the site of the conference or meeting or whatever event is taking place] then make sure you are back after 19.30" - possibly??? i.e. if you're staying somewhere else and you go there to have dinner (using your dinner allowance money), you are "respectfully" ("respectivement" typo?) asked to come back here afterwards..... Or, alternatively, if you're staying somewhere else, you won't be back there 'till after 19.30....
