neutral writeaway : too bad the ref has nothing to do with the context /but words have to be in the context in order to be valid for a given translation. these words aren't in the same context as the French source term. that makes it a fausse piste .

"cadre" suggests some managerial/executive responsibilities but I would guess this person has a clinical role as well.

hi Marilyn! HNY - been a long time :-) - yes, I've never seen "executive" as an actual job title "interim executive of the anesthetics dept", I don't think so
